Diamond Platinumz hit below the belt as two of his hit songs were banned by Tanzanian government 

TCRA, a Tanzanian government institution that regulates communication has banned Diamond Platinumz’s two songs. The institution banned Diamond’s international collabos, ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘Waka Waka’

 TCRA held that the songs contain illicit content, not fit for TV and radio. The institution also banned 11 other songs belonging other Tanzanian musicians
Embattled Tanzanian crooner Diamond Platinumz has suffered a major blow after TCRA, a Tanzanian government institution that regulates communication in the country banned his two international collabos. TCRA banned Diamond Platinumz’s songs ‘Hallelujah’ featuring Morgan Heritage and ‘Waka Waka’ featuring American rapper, Rick Ross.

The songs were among 13 Tanzanian songs which were banned on Wednesday, February 28, due to their vulgar nature.
According to TCRA officials, Waka Waka, Hallelujah and the other 11 songs which have been playing on different media platforms contain illicit content which violates Tanzania’s code of conduct.

In a statement released on Wednesday, February 28, TCRA urged all media stations to give the aforementioned songs complete blackout since they were leading throngs of Youth astray.
