Sunday Williams came close to extending the lead for the visitors but he couldn’t dribble pass his marker and Ayo Ojo easily pick the loose ball.
From then, the home side started mounting pressure on the Sky Blue Stars but their attempts weren’t yielding profits until David Fadairo was gifted a chance to level up but couldn’t get the final touch and James Faith picks easily.
Another close chance for Osun United FC through Mamud Akorede after forcing his way pass our defenders but his attempt meets the side net.
The victory against the Omoluabi giants ensured that the Sky Blue Stars got maximum points away from home in the first game of Group B2 in the Bet9ja Nigeria National League (NNL) and next for Remo Stars FC is another away game against Stationery Stars in Match Day Two (2) of the second tier league.
