Thiem vowed another Grand Slam final.

2018 French Open finalist Dominic Thiem has vowed to return to the Grand Slam in a bigger way after losing 6-4 6-3 6-2 to 11 times winner, Raphael Nadal on Sunday evening.

The 24 years old Austrian who defeated Alexandr Zverev 6-4 6-2 6-1 and Cecchinato 5-7 6-7 6-1 in the quarter final and semi finals respectively to set up final battle with Nadal showed a strong heart after the game with his statement.

“I’m confident that this was not my last Grand Slam final, and that’s my biggest goal, to get into the next one and then to do it better than today.”

The world number 8 who already has 10 career titles is of great mind that he would do a better job in his next Slam hoping to win his first.
