Falcons Landed in Ghana

Soccer temple, Agege Lagos, was full of happy minds when Super Falcons of Nigeria mauled Gambia national female side 6-0 and (7-0 aggregate) to land in Ghana for the CAF/ TOTAL African Women Nations cup

Reiging champions Super Falcons have qualified for the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations which will be held in Ghana in November after taking the Gambia national female team to the cleaner this afternoon in Nigeria

The 10 times African champions have already won the first leg 0-1 away to the Queen Scorpions before nailing the coffin with a six nill humiliation.

Four goals from 24 years old Guingamp star Desire Oparanozie (3 pen, 49,63,83 minutes) and a brace from reigning African queen Asisat Oshoala of Dalian Quanjian F.C.(China) (44, 73) were all the Falcons needed to land gallantly in Ghana for the women version of the Africa nations cup which will also serve as the qualifying tournament where three African teams Will hoist the continent flag in the 2019 FIFA women World Cup in France.

Nigeria alongside Ghana(host), Zambia, South Africa, Mali, Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Algeria, will all battle for the crown and the world cup ticket from November 17th to December 1st this year
